The initiative aims to recover and enhance the use of the Sicilian language which finds its
cultural reference in the poets of the Frederician school; Sicilian is a language in which
composite etymologies converge and consider it, as has happened since the unification of Italy in
forward, a simple dialect, forgetting authors like Micio Tempio and Martoglio, so as not to
to say of the Nobel Prize winner Luigi Pirandello, who extensively used the Sicilian language,
means obscuring an important linguistic and identity heritage. As the great
