INFORMATION ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

This policy describes how we process the personal data collected through the online booking form for free admission to the film festival.

1. Data Controller

2. Type of Data Processed

The booking form collects only common personal data that is strictly necessary for managing the service:

  • Name and Surname
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number
  • Number of seats desired

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of the Processing

Personal data voluntarily provided by users will be processed exclusively for the following purposes:

  • We will manage seat reservations for the film festival until capacity is reached.
  • Service communications strictly related to the event (e.g. schedule changes, screening cancellations, urgent communications).

The legal basis for processing is the implementation of pre-contractual or contractual measures (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the GDPR), as the processing is necessary to provide the booking service requested by the user.

4. Nature of the Data Provision

Providing the data requested in the form is mandatory to complete the reservation. Failure to provide this information, or providing partial or inaccurate information, will prevent us from reserving your place for the event.

5. Processing Methods and Security

Data processing is carried out using IT and electronic tools, using methods strictly related to the purposes indicated above and, in any case, in a way that guarantees the security and confidentiality of the data, protected by appropriate technical and organizational security measures.

6. Data Recipients

The data collected will not be disclosed or sold to third parties in any way. It may be accessed exclusively by expressly authorized and trained internal personnel of the ARB Cultural Association, or by third parties providing technological services related to the management of the website or booking platform (appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors).

7. Data Retention Period

In compliance with the principle of storage limitation, the data collected will be retained for the time strictly necessary to manage the event. All personal data collected through this form will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the conclusion of the film festival.

8. Rights of the interested party

At any time, the user may exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR, including:

  • Request access to your personal data and obtain a copy of it.
  • Request rectification or erasure of your data (right to be forgotten).
  • Request restriction of processing.
